PRESBYTERY AND OBJECTORS • (Special to TIIE SUN) WIIANGAREI, Thursday. Conscientious objectors to military training' were discussed at the meeting of the North Auckland Presbytery today. After a discussion on the cases of Messrs. Miller and Richards, the following resolution, moved by the Rev. G. W. Blair, was carried: exemption be granted to all persons whose conscientious objections to military training and service are certified by trustworthy witnesses without discrimination between denominations; (2) that alternative non-military service be prescribed as provided by the Act: (3) that the Governor-General be respectfully asked to review the sentence passed on Messrs. Miller and Richards for their failure to obey the law..
