HOLDER OF WORLD’S SPEED RECORD CRASHES TRAINING FOR SCHNEIDER CUP (Australian and ISf.Z. Press Association) (United Service) Reed. Noon. PARIS, Tuesday. Lieutenant Bonnet, world’s speed record holder, while training to represent France in the Schneider Cup races, crashed when looping the loop at Bordeaux and was killed instantly.
