TT is just seven years ago that ' Jack Kennerley, having decided to shake the dust of Melbourne off his feet landed in New Zealand with the pacers Pedro Pronto and Lincoln Huon and the trotter First Fashion. Since taking up his residence in the land of his adoption J.J.K. has never looked back, and he was not long in getting we*f on the winning list with His importations. After that he was associated with such good ones as Acron, Logan Chief, Great Bingen, Native Chief, Peter Bingen and Jackie Audubon, and his successes include the Derbies, Free for All, Wellington, Dunedin, Canterbury and New Zealand Cups. The only big race in the country he has not yet won is the Auckland Cup.
