Sir Eaton had the lead when the race was half run, Mosstrooper being his nearest attendant, with Longlands handy Turning for home Mosstrooper gained the lead, and his superior pace on the flat enabled him to win by five lengths from Longlands. who beat Scudalong by four lengths, then came Cobranveil, Sir Eaton, May Dav in that order. Time, 6.16.
