AN AVONDALE GRIEVANCE

Sir,— May I say a few words regarding the Avondale bus service? Why is it that the Point Chevalier people are allowed to monopolise our buses to such an extent that an Avondale reresident very often is unabel to get a seat, and sometimes has to wait for a later bus, when the Point people have such a good service of their own? I have seen people from the Point actually get into an Avondale bus when one of their own buses was coming along to the Pitt Street stop. Avondale people are getting very tired of such treatment, and grumbling is rife, OLD RESIDENT.
