WOMEN'S SOCIETY MEETS The Bays water-Belmont » Women’s Society held a sociaT evening at the house of its president, Mrs. F. E. N. Gaudin. of Norwood Hoad, Bayswater. on Thursday. An impromptu speech competition was held, being won by Mrs. It. Harrison. who made a witty and amusing speech on “Love.” Mrs. Waddell. Mrs. Mackin. Mrs. Williamson and Mrs. Davies gave songs and musical items, and other competitions were won by Mrs. Francis, Mrs. Brinsden and Mrs. Harrison. Among the guests were; Mrs. L. L. Rabbidge. Mrs. A Gyde Mrs. Brady. Mrs. Powell, airs. W. White! Mrs. W. Thomas, Mrs. Francis, Mrs. M. Alackay, Mrs. Harrison, Mrs. Waddell, Mrs. Ramband. Mrs. Thomas, sen.. Mrs. A. L. Browne, Mrs. Maokin, Mrs. Hawkesworth. Mrs. Inkster. Mrs. Hawkesworth, sen.. Mrs. Williamson. Mrs. McDuff. Mrs. Davies. Mrs. Blampied, Mrs. Edwards, Airs. Kirkham, Airs. Brinsden and Aliss Feaver.
