VISITORS WIN AGAIN
HOCKEY GAME IN SOUTH Press Association TIMARU, Thursday. The Australian hockey team defeated South Canterbury at Geraldine today by 4 goals to 1. The ground was heavy and this handicapped the players. The home team put up a good fight, hut the combination of the visitors was the deciding factor. Australia had the better of play in the first half, and led at the interval by 3 goals to 0. South Canterbury improved in the second half, but the forwards lacked finish, arid good scoring chances were thrown away. In spite of the heavy sround the game was an interesting one.
