CHRISTIAN ENDEAVOUR
ANNUAL CONVENTION ARRANGED The usual reports were given by the delegates, superintendents and treasurer at the monthly council meeting of the Auckland Provincial Christian Endeavour Union held on Tuesday evening.
It was decided that the annual convention would be held this year from September 21 to 25, as follows: —Saturday, September 21, afternoon, discussion on Christian Endeavour activities; evening, junior rally; Sunday, Christian Endeavour in all churches; Monday, annual business meeting; Tuesday. Alumni banquet and meeting; Wednesday, procession through Queen Street to Baptist Tabernacle, where senior and intermediate rally will be held. The council expects that Miss Jenny Street will be the chief speaker at the convention. The secretary’ reported that £lO 2s had b,een paid nito the earthquake fund. The resignation of Mr. J. Bradford, vice-president, was accepted with regret. and the appointment of Mr. Binnie, of the Baptist Tabernacle, as junior superintendent, was confirmed. It was reported that a Young People's Society had been formed at the Mount Albert Methodist Church,
