ANSWER TO CORRESPONDENT
Inquirer.—Terence Dillon went 4.25 to win the Otahuhu Oup in 1928, off a 4.2 S mark. The second day from 4.25, he was beaten a head by Sea Pearl and registered 4.26. At Forbury Park winter meeting, recently, the Author Dillon gelding won the Prince of Wales Handicap off 4.26, but owing to the heavy state of the track his time (4.44* 2-5) was slow.
