ST. JAMES
With popularity undiminished, Frank O’Brian and his company of Revellers are still delighting large audiences nightly at St. James Theatre, and last evening was no exception. The merry O’Brian quips do not pall readily, and their effectiveness is as strong now as ever it was. His comedy methods, so original, are a constant delight, and the singing, too, of Miss Janice Hart brings the audience to a similar state of enthusiastic appreciation. Although the principals are strong, the Revellers do not content themselves with a solo show. The principals have the support of an excellent ballet, which sings well and dances superbly. “Tiny” Douglas and his band gives all that is needed in the way of jazz music, and when the final curtain goes down, the audience leaves with the satisfied feeling that a good show gives. There will be a change of programme tomorrow evening.
