MOTOR STRIKES BOY

ACCIDENT IN QUEEN STREET When crossing Queen Street, opposite,His Majesty’s Theatre, shortly after 5 o'clock last evening, Oscar Fletcher, aged 14. was knocked down by a motorcar, and had his right wrist broken. The car was driven by Miss Doris Spence, of Mount Eden, and was going toward the waterfront. The boy, who lives at 65 Brighton Road, Parnell, was taken into a chemist’s shop and attended by Dr. J. A. Watson, later being taken to the casualty ward in the hospital for further attention.
