TONIGHT AT HIS MAJESTY'S Only six nights and two matinee* remain of the short Allan Wilkie comedy season at His Majesty’s Theatre. Goldsmith's comedy, “She Stoops to Conquer,” was presented at a matin?' yesterday afternoon, and again in the evening. This evening Mr. Wilkie will presen' the most brilliant comedy in the English language, Richard Brinsley Sheridan; “The School for Scandal.” Mr. Wilkiis said to give a splendid delineation of the great role of Sir Peter Teazk who abandons bachelordom late k life and almost finds the young an* l witty Lady Teazle, Miss Hunter-Watts, too much for his patience. The quarrel set nes between these two have an infectious humour that is irresistib;while the situations in the famous picture and screen scenes are quite Ufrivalled for sustained interest and ous entertainment. Mr. Wilkie’s season clpses with formances of “The Rivals” on Tuesday, July 30, and the matinee an evening presentation on Wednesday July 31.
