JOCKEYS WIN
FOOTBALL MATCH WITH THE BARMEN A crowd of several hundred people witnessed a football match at Victoria Hark yesterday betwen the Auckland Jockeys and the Auckland barmen. A collection in aid of the Earthquake Relief Fund realised a good sum. The Jockeys won by 6 points to 3. Tries were scored by Sharkey and Leyden (for the jockeys), and by Hudson (for the barmen). In addition to those that scored, McTavlsh and Manson played well for the jockeys and Oliver and Mackie showed out for the barmen, for whom Hudson, of the City Club, was the outstanding player.
