YOUNG MAN SERIOUSLY INJURED MOTOR-CYCLING AT NIGHT Press Association TE KUITI, Today. A young man, Percy Hallinan, aged 20, whose, parents reside at Featherston, was picked up unconscious, near Mahoenui, on the main road on Tuesday night. His damaged motor-cycle, which had crashed into the railing of a small bridge, was lying alongside the injured man. The young man, who was motoring from Wanganui 0 to Te Awamutu to visit a brother, is now in Te Kuiti with injuries to his head and his condition is serious.

It is presumed the cycle skidded and ran into the railing.
