AUCKLAND LADIES' CLUB Results of matches in the first round of the Auckland Ladies’ Golf Club championship are as follow; Mrs. Wilson beat Mrs. Smith, S and 6; Miss Upton beat Miss Graham, 1 up at the 19th; Miss Buddie beat Miss Moginie, 2 and 1; Miss Culling beat Mrs. Craven, S and 7; -Mrs. Robinson beat Miss McGovern, 4 and 2; Miss Wilson beat Miss L. Cutfield, 4 and 0; Mrs. Ferguson beat Mrs. Towle, 4 and 3; Mrs. Abbott beat Mrs. Wright, 2 and 1; Miss MacCormick beat Mrs. Green, 3 and 2 The first round of the junior championship was also played, the results beiug as follow:—Mrs. Hanna beat Mrs. Foster, 4 and 3; Miss Ballantyne beat Miss Egertnn. 7 and 5; Mrs. Macindoe beat Mrs. Wvide-15rowne, 3 and 2; Miss Clark beat Miss Baylv, 5 and 3; Mrs. Brown beat Mrs. Nevill, 6 and 5.
