MEETING IN SEPTEMBER ('Special to THE SUN) CHRISTCHURCH, Today. I A_t a meeting of the executive committee of the Citizens’ Earthquake Relief Fund, held late yesterday afternoon, the chairman. Mr. H. J. Otiey. stated that permission had been received from the Minister of Internal Affairs to hold a trotting meeting in aid of the earthquake relief funds. The three trotting clubs had agreed to combine for the meeting. Not more i than £2.000 is to be given m stakes, | and it is hoped to raise £ 1.000 for the I of a number of fixtures in | the immediate future, the meeting will not be held until September. j
