V FE>.' cf Nelson Fame's projT\. geny »-j now taking shape, and on general appearance they are a credit to their sire, who was undoubtedly one of the greatest milers ever seen in New Zealand. “Abaydos” was yesterday shown a youngster by the Nelson Bingen horse from the trotting mare Annie Emma, a daughter of Golconda, and it is safe to say that for conformation nothing in the Dominion has anything on this rising yearling. Apart from good looks, the juvenile possesses a head full of brains, and when taken in hand promises to be an acquisition to Auckland’s youngsters. The youthful Nelson Fame will in all probability receive its early education at the hands of Geo. Stubbs, and in his capable charge will have every chance to prove its real worth.
