AWAKENED BY BARKING DOGS OUTBREAK AT MOUNT ROSKILL Awakened by the continuous barking of his dogs late on Sunday night, Mr. Ernest Vickers, of Halsey Drive, Mount Roskill, get out of bed and went out to investigate. He found that the roof of his house was burning vigorously. He hurried back into the house and awakened Mrs. Vickers and their child. The three escaped safely, but did not have time to carry with them any clothing other than the night attire which they were wearing.
