ST. JAMES
FRANK O’BRIAN’S REVUE Attracted by the fine variety of comedy. dance and music of Frank O'Brian’s Revue Company, another large audience attended the St. James Theatre on Saturday evening. Frank O'Brian, undoubtedly the life and soul of the company with his clever wit and humour, was at his best in confidential gossip about what Eve said to Adam, and made the show go with a swing. Many new jokes are introduced in the sketches by Janice Hart and Frank O'Brian, particularly “The Schoolroom,’’ with Frank as the naughty boy. Janice Hart thoroughly delighted the | audience with her song, “The Old Guitar.” Very enjoyable music is provided by Tiny Douglas and his Varsity Jazz Boys’ Band. The dancing of the Versatile Eight, and the singing of Gordon Norville, Bert Lee, Marie Ward and Mabelle Morgan all contribute to the success of a most enjoyable entertainment.
