SERVICE AWARDS PRESENTED (Fram Our Own Correspondent) HABIILTON, Today. The Hamilton Fire Brigade held its annual dinner last evening, Superin—tendent A. Craig presiding. During the evening the Blayor, )Ir. J. R. Fow, presented the following ser— V‘ige awards;—

Two-year Bars—Superintendent A. Craig (total service 21 years), DeputySuperintendent J. N. Irvine (19 years). Foreman Davis (21 years), Fireman \K'. E. )[athieson (‘l3 years), T. Davis (11 years), Hon. Surgeon Dr. F. D. Pinfold (9 years). D. liathieson (9 years), L. Davis (9 years), S. Peat (1 years), Honorary Chaplain E. M. Cowie (19 years). Five years’ service medals were given to Fireman Elliniers, Fireman Searle and Motorman Hume, and three years’ certificates to Firelnan Henry, Blotorman Russell and Fireman Ander. Other awards were:—Dickey Meniorial Cup and two gold medals, Motorinan Russell and Fireman Hague; Loughlin Cup and one gold. medal. Fireman Forster; Hill and Peat Cup. Riotorman Hume. The Efficiency Cup was presented to the VVest squad. con—sisting of Firemen W. G. Davis. T. Davis, L. Davis. A. Bryant and S. Peat. An occasional table was presented to Fireman 1. V 7. St. Clair. who. after 145 years' service. has been transferred to Te Kuiti. Mr. F. Farrell‘s medal for the most efficient fire police ofificer was presented to Mr. S. T. Cooper, captain of the Hamilton Fire Police.
