SWANSON BRANCH MEETS The Swanson AVomcn's Institute held the monthly meeting in the Swanson Hall on AVednesday, when Airs. AV. Taylor was in the chair. After the business had concluded afternoon tea was served, each member bringing the result of a tried recipe. Afterward receipes were exchanged. It was decided to give the proceeds of the “Alat Hatters’ Ball” to be held on August 10 to the earthquake relief fund. Sympathy from the Swanson Institute was sent to the Longford Institute, which is in the midst of the stricken area. Several musical items were given by Aliss Strahan.
