A GOOD INNINGS

CINCE being purchased by the local light-harness enthusiast, E. H. Cucksey, when she entered J. Bryce’s Hornby stable, Evelyn Locanda has proved a useful and consistent performer, and while the daughter of Brent Locanda has only twice during the season had her name inscribed on the winning list, she succeeded in filling minor places on eight occasions. These efforts resulted in owner Cucksey’6 cheque for the season amounting to £1,094. This mare has not yet reached her zenith and next season should render further good service for her party.
