SUBURBAN THEATRES
At the Prince Edward Theatre this evening the films are to be “The Further Adventures of the Flag Lieutenant” (Isabel Jeans and Henry Edwards) and "Not Quite Decent” (June Collyer).
The Grey Lynn Cinema is showing “Love and the Devil” (Maria Corda and Milton Sills), also "Ginsberg the Great” (George Jossel). At the Parish Hall, Devonport, the chief attraction is the secret service thriller, “The Spy.”
“The Hollywood Revue of 1929” has been selected as the final title for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer’s new musical production, formerly known as “The M.G.M. Revue of Revues.” The screen and stage celebrities included in the cast are Bessie Love, Anita Page, Charles King, Joan Crawford, Marion Davies, William Haines. Buster Keaton, Marie Dressier, Cliff Edwards, the Brox Sisters, and Natacha Natova.
