SECOND RUGBY TEST
ROSS UNABLE TO PLAY FOR AUSTRALIA WESTFIELD AS FULLBACK Reed. 10.40 a.m. SYDNEY, Today. The Australian fullback, Ross, will not be able to play against New Zealand in the second test match at Brisbane on Saturday. He is suffering from synovitis of a knee. Westfield, who was born in New Zealand, will fill the vacancy. Westfield was a member of the New South Wales team that toured New Zealand last year. He was educated at St. Patrick’s College, Wellington. The Australian team now is as follows: Fullback.—Westfield. Threequarters.—E. Ford, Sturtridge, King, McGhee. Five-eighth.—Lawton. Halfback.—Malcolm. Forwards—Breckenridge, Ford, Finlay, Thompson, Bonis, Cerutti, Palfreyman, Hamalainen.
