BURGLARIES ADMITTED
MAN TO BE SENTENCED (Special to THE SUN) TAIHAPE, Tueatef. The burglar who broke into a tobacconist’s shop by burning a hole in the door large enough for him to put his hand in and turn the key, appeared in the Police Court today. Douglas Pryce, a labourer, 25, was charged that on June 20 he entered by night the shop of Frank Hamill. hairdresser and tobacconist. Taihape. and stole goods valued at £l4 14s, and that on the same date he broke Into the premises of Allan Smith, billiardsaloon proprietor. Taihape. and stole a small sum of money. Accused was committed to the Supremo Court at Wellington or sentence.
