MR. J. H. McMASTERS The death of Mr. John Henry McMasters occurred in the Wliangarei District Hospital this week at the age identity in the Maromaku district. Mr. McMasters enlisted for the war, although actually over age, and served for is months in France. He was invalied home in 1917. On his return to New Zealand he took a farm at Three Mile Bush. MR. N. THOMAS Tlio death occurred at his residence, Walmsley Road, Waihi, on Sunday, of Mr. Nicholas Thomas at the age of 73 years. A native of Pendeen, Cornwall, England, Mr. Nicholas came to New Zealand in IS7B and followed mining in the South Island for a number of years. After a stay in Australia of some years he went to Waihi, where ho resided up to the time of his death. On July 3 4, 1928, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas celebrated their golden wedding. Mr. Thomas is survived by Mrs. Thomas **nd four sons—James (Waihi), William (Auckland). Henry (Waihi) and Ivan (Wellington); and three daughters —Mesdames J. Arnold, A. Ivey and Thomas (Waihi).
