ST. JAMES
SEASON OF REVUE Revue, with all its implied gaiety, is attracting large audiences to St. James Theatre, and no company visiting the theatre has been more popular than Frank O’Brian and his revellers, who are now engaged on the happy mission of spreading sunshine. The company, headed by Frank O’Brian and Janice Hart, is perfectly balanced, and solo or concerted work is equally good. Frank O’Brian is a comedian, with simple and original methods, and he makes cheery contact with the audience early in the show. Miss Hart is a singer with fine sense of comedy, and her light numbers are among the most popular in the show. The supporting artists are all excellent in their differing ways, substantial contributions to the evening’s entertainment being made by Bert Lee, Mabelle Morgan, Joe Hudson, Marie Ward and 'Gordon Norville. A first-rate programme of jazz music is provided by “Tiny Douglas’s Varsity Boys.”
