BRITAIN AND CHINA
COMMERCIAL TREATY NOW BEING NEGOTIATED British Official Wireless Reed. 11 a.m. RUGBY, Monday. Negotiations are proceeding between the British and the Chinese Governments for the conclusion of a full commercial treaty on a basis of reciprocity and equality. Two experts have been appointed by either side, and are at present engaged in Shanghai on an examination of the British and Chinese drafts which are being used as a basis of negotiation.
