ECONOMIC MISSION
BRITISH TOUR OF SOUTH AMERICA British Official Wireless RUGBY, Monday. The chairman of the Agricultural Engineers’ Association, Mr. G. Rowland, who was to have represented general engineering on the British Economic Mission winch is about to proceed to Argentina and Brazil, has been lyiavoidably compelled to withdraw from the mission. Mr. Howard Williams, formerly general manager and now a director of the Central Argentine Railway will take his place. In commercial and industrial circles importance is attached to the tour of the mission. It is to be led by Viscount D’Abernon and will leave England in about a fortnight. The mission will investigate the trading relations of Britain with Argentina and Brazil in all their aspects, and will spend two and a-half months in South America. The members have been assured of a cordial welcome.
