AKARANA YACHT CLUB A very enjoyable evening: was spent by members and friends of the Akarana Yacht Club on Saturday evening:, when Stacey’s Orchestra dispensed bright music to many dancers. Committee members present were: Airs. F. Jeffers, who was gowned in navy blue crepe de chine. Mrs. G. Miller, wearing lace and mauve georgette. Airs. E. B. Webster, in ivory brocaded satin. Miss M. R. Ratcliffe, who wore floral lace and rose satin. AMONG THE DANCERS Miss Mortimer was in ecru lace and rose satin. Miss J. White wore powder blue charrueuse. Miss E. Rawle’s frock was sunset embroidered georgette. Miss F. Willetts was in ecru lace. Miss E. Mangan had on a floral lame frock. Miss M. White wore ivory crepe de chine. Miss Macefield chose black crepe de chine with gold lace bodice. Miss M. Cummer’s black satin frock was trimmed with diamente. Miss L. Cooper was in lavender shot taffeta. Miss D. Boyes was wearing apricot taffeta with silver lace. Miss J. Grimar had on rose satin and lace. Miss M. Jeffers was frocked in ivory crepe de chine. Airs. T. Boswell chose black crepe fleuri. Miss X. Ashdown wore rose pink crepe do chine with uneven liem. Aliss E. Jeffers came in ciel blue velvet. Aliss Al. Roundell had on ivory georgette, uneven hem. Aliss AI. Johnston's frock was leaf green crepe de chine and silver lace. ALiss C. Power wore maroon'crepe de chine. Aliss J. Ariller’s frock was lemon frilled georgette. Aliss G. Howell had on opalescent taffeta with shoulder posy. Aliss AlcGill wore blue and biscuit crepe de sole. Aliss F. Clark came in saxe blue. A GOLD LACE GOWN Aliss C. Lawrence was frocked in gold lace over green silk. Aliss L. Boyes had on rose embroidered crepe de chine. Aliss Z. Alobberley was in alice blue georgette. Aliss D. Douglas wore black taffeta finished with silver hem. Miss Gordon’s frock was floral crepe de chine. Airs. ATcKinnon was in navy blue. Aliss Chitty wore floral lame and lace. Aliss W. Grimmer chose black sa.tin and tulle-. Aliss Hurfitt had on shell pink georgette and silver lame. Aliss Fort’s apricot georgette frock had touches of silver lace. Aliss E. Smith wore buttercup georgette. Aliss E. Litchfield was in blue georgette and silver lace. Airs. J. Burdett had on black ve.vet adorned with fringe. Miss R. Smith’s frock was rose rink georgette and lace. Aliss A. Nightingale wore rose georgette and taffeta. . Aliss Peggy Smyth had on gold metal lace over satin. Miss C. Alariano was wearing rose crepe de chine with oriental trimmings. Miss Al. Alunro (Papakura) chose cherry taffeta and lace. Aliss R. AlcCormick's frock was lemon crepe de chine. Miss V. AVilliams was in green chenille and georgette. . . ! Aliss E. AlcCormick wore rose pmK crepe de chine and silver lace Miss Harris came in shell pink lace and j satin. Aliss Kidd’s frock was rose pink ana powder blue taffeta. . . Miss AT. Power had on sunset pink taffeta and gold lace. . Aliss E. Boswell wore peach lace ana crepe de chine. _
