MORE HOUSES DAMAGED
TWO BUILDINGS SHIFTED BY LANDSLIP FLOODS IN NELSON DISTRICT Press Association NELSON, Today. Heavy rains throughout the Nelson district during the week-end caused general floods which damaged roads, bridges and farm lands. A subsidence on a hillside near Tahuna Beach wrenched two houses from their foundations and the occupants had to leave them. The slip was probably the result of water getting In cracks caused by the earthquakes.
