REFEREES REINSTATED
RUGBY RULING GIVEN Press Association HELLINGTOM, Wednesday. The following reinstatements were granted at a meeting of the New Zealand Rugby Union Management Committee: L. Coburn, C. J. McDevitt C Sherman (Auckland), J. Ganbym (Thames \ alley), W. Whitelaw (North Auckland), J. Hargreaves (Euller), and A. J. Clark (Canterbury) The committee ruled in reply to a question from the New Zealand' Referees’ Association that a plaver in his own goal could throw the ball into touch in goal or across the dead line without incurring any penalty.
