CAR AND CYCLE COLLIDE

ACCIDENT IN CITY A collision between his motor-cycle and a motor-car at the corner o£ Beach Road and Anzac Avenue about half-past six last evening resulted in Roy Robert Freeman, aged 28, being sent to hospital, suffering from cuts to his face and hands. The driver of the motor-car was not hurt and his car escaped damage. The motor-cycle, however, was badly smashed and Mr. Freeman, who lives at 32 Duke Street, Dominion Road, was taken to hospital by the St. John Ambulance. He was not seriously injured and this morning his condition was reported to be satisfactory.
