“GREAT MAN’S DREAM”
BOOTH MEMORIAL COLLEGE OPENED “UNIVERSITY OF HUMANITY” (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) (United Service) Reed. 11 a.m. LONDON, Monday. The Australian Agents-General, the New Zealand High Commissioner, Sir James Parr, and 5,000 Salvationists witnessed Prince George open the Booth Memorial Training College at Danmark Hill, consisting of 12 houses, in which 350 men and 250 women can be accommodated. The Prince said it fulfilled a great man’s dream. He had established a university of humanity, in which men and women could be trained in all phases of useful endeavour.
