ENGINEER INJURED

COLLAPSE OF TOWER Press Association WAIPUKURAU, Today. Mr. R. B. Climie, engineer-contrac-tor, engaged in obtaining ballast metal from the Tuki Tuki River at Waipukurau for the Railway Department, was severely hurt while on the job on Saturday afternoon. After altering the draught of the dragline of the machine that was hauling the shingle through the river, the tower at which Mr. Climie was standing was suddenly thrown over, pinning him to the ground. He was removed to the TFaipukurau Hospital suffering from a fractured shoulder and scaJp wounds.
