PONSONBY DRILL HALL DANCE
A dance will be held in the Ponsonby Drill Hall again this evening, conducted by the 15th North Auckland Regimental Colours Fund Committee to raise funds for the purchase of colours. The floor is one of the largest for dancing in Auckland, and the music will be supplied by Len. Meredith’s Adelphi Band. There are a number of novelties and special dances.
Sights and sounds of the London waterfront are to be brought to the screen in Paramount’s all-talking mystery picture. “The Insidious Dr. Fu Manchu.” Warner Oland. Jean Arthur and Neil Hamilton have leading roles in the picture.
