SETTING UP OF STATION MINISTERIAL CONFERENCE (THE SUN'S Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, Friday. The question of the establishment of a forestry research station was discussed at a conference held today between the Tlon. H. Atmore, Minister of Education, the Hon. W. B. Taverner, Minister in charge of State Forests, Dr. Miller, entomologist, Cawthron Institute, Mr. E. Phillips Turner, of the Forestry Department, and Mr. Smith, of the same department. The Cawthron Institue offered to provide a building for the carrying out of investigations into fungoids and other forest pests, and also offered the assitance of Dr. Miller. A station probably will be set up, and an announcement should be made shortly.
