STOCK WELL SOUGHT Satisfactory inquiries were made generally at the Te Awamutu stock yulo on Thursday, reports the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co.. Ltd., of Hamilton. The beef pens were well filled, and fat cattle sold at ruling rates. Good quality yearling Jexsey heifers met with keen competition, and there were strong demands for springing heifers and dairy cows. Sheep realised good prices. Light fat steers brought up to £l2, and other notable prices were: —£B 2s 6d to £9 10s for fat cows; £6 to £6 16s for high grade yearling Jexsey heifers; £6 ISs to £7 15s for two and a-half year steers: to £ll for cows % on account of Mr. W. Barron; to £ll 5s for cows on account of Mr. T. Parkinson; £ll to £l4 15s for ; springing Jersey heifers on account of Alderson Brothers; £lO 5s to £l4 15s for other good quality heifers. NINE PER CENT. DIVIDEND
FULLER-HAYWARD PICTURES Shareholders of Hayward's Pictures, Ltd., and Fullers’ Pictures, Ltd., held their annual meetings yesterday, Mr. P. A. Herman presiding. The companies have a working agreement as far as revenue and expenditure are concerned. They operate in conjunction with New Zealand Picture Supplies, Ltd. In each case, the shareholders agreed to the declaration of a further 5 per cent, dividend, making 9 per cent, for the year. The reports and the balance sheets, already published, were adopted and Mr. J. M. Elliffe was reappointed auditor to both companies. CHICAGO WHEAT MARKET (Australian and N.Z.
