EARTHQUAKE RELIEF

PICTURES AT REGENT ON SUNDAY

A full picture and musical programme will be screened at the New Regent Theatre on Sunday evening to raise funds for the relief of distress in the earthquake stricken areas. The programme will be opened by a number of musical selections on the big Wurlitzer played by Mr. Arthur G. Frost, followed by a gazette. a scenic, more selections on the Wurlitzer, and then a fine film entitled “Held to Answer,” starring House Peters, an actor who was seen here recently in the film “Rose Marie.”

Clara Bow’s first Paramount alltalking picture, “The Wild Party,” will be released shortly in New Zealand. Fredric March, a prominent stage actor, has the leading male role, and others in the cast include Joyce Compton, Marceline Day, Jack Oakie, Jack Luden and Shirley O’Hara.
