PUBLIC MAKES CHOICE AT ART SHOW AUSTRALIAN WINS The public vote taken at the recent show of the Auckland Society of Arts to determine which was the most popular picture exhibited, has uow been counted, and the chosen picture is Fred Leist’s “A Bathing Party.” This work, by an Australian artist, was perhaps the most striking in the show. The public’s second choice was “Zinnias,” by Miss Ivy M. Copeland.

Although it was placed third in the public choice, “Bush Track,” by Sydney H. Higgs, secured most votes from artist members of the society.
