FIRE SWEEPS A ’FRISCO SUBURB 4,000 MEN FIGHT FLAMES (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) (United Service) Received 9.5 a.m. SAN FRANCISCO, Wednesday. A fire which bi-oke out on Tuesday in the wealthy residential section of Mill City, across the Golden Gate from San Francisco, destroyed 130 houses. The estimated loss is £200,000. The fire was brought under control after midnight, but was again started by flying embers on Wednesday morning. It was fought by 4,000 firefighters.
