WHANGAREI NOTES
A Wliangarei visitor, Mr. R. A. Champtaloup, touring manager for the Auckland Automobile Association, commented very favourably on traffic conditions in Whangarei when he addressed a meeting of Whangarei motorists.
Tuesday night was the coldest experienced in Whangarei this winter. The thermometer registered 39 degrees yesterday morning. The country was covered with a thick, white coat of frost.
