Reported: National Insurance, 16s 2d; Colonial Sugar, £57 15s; Farmers’ Fertiliser, £1 2s 6d. Business at this morning’s early call -—On ’Change: Farmers’ Trading (ord.), Bs. Reported: Devonport Steam Ferry, £1 2s 6d. Business at today’s mid-day call —On 'Change: Commercial Bank of Australia, £1 9s 9d; Farmers’ Fertiliser, £1 2s 6d. Reported: Electrolytic Zinc (ord.), £1 15s 10£d; Farmers’ Fertiliser, £1 2s 6d. * * m Coals continue to improve. Grey Valley remain steady at about 23s 6d. Pukemiro are asked for at 65s 6d, sellers 68s. Renown (ord.) have eager buyers at 14s 6d, shares offering at 16s. Taupiri both issues and Waipa have
many keen buyers, but fail to attract : sellers. Insurance section is firm. National have sold at 16s 2d. leaving buyers at 16s Id, sellers 16s 4d. New Zealand and South British are both exceptionally firm. Devonport Fei*ry continue to change hands at 22s 6d. Huddart-Parker remain steady. Northern Steam both issues are firm. Colonial Sugar are selling freely at £57 15s. leaving the market firm. Dominion Pictures both issues have persistent buyers at 20s 6d. Farmers’ Trading (ord.) sold today at Bs. Farmers’ Fertiliser and Wilsons Cement are both firm. All local body debentures are scarce and numerous buyers are appearing.
