DENTAL CLINICS

POSITION AT MORRINSVILLE DEPARTMENT’S POLICY A communication was received by the Auckland Education Board at its meeting this morning from the Director of Dental Hygiene regarding a letter received from Mrs. L. S. Small, of Putarnru, concerning the request for Putaruru children to receive treatment at the Morrinsville clinic. The director stated that he understood it was the intention of the Government at some future date to extend the school dental clinic service to children of registered private schools. The director stated that Mrs. Small’s children could not be. treated at Morrinsville as the Putaruru School had not yet been included in the circuit for dental treatment, owing to lack of service. The board decided to explain the position to Mrs. Small as indicated in the Director of Hygiene’s letter.
