GOVERNMENT MISLED?
MINE-OWNERS AND COAL PROFITS DRASTIC ACTION PROMISED Reed. 10.15 a.m. SYDNEY, Today. Drastic action against the coal-own-ers, if it is proved that they have misled the Government, is promised by the Acting-Premier, Mr. E. A. Buttenshaw, who declared: “If the Coal Commission finds that the colliery profits exceed 2s a ton, then the Government has been misled. The inquiry into the coal position shall proceed.”
