IMPERIAL FISCAL UNION
BEAVERBROOK ADVOCATES EMPIRE SCHEME
(Australian, and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 9 a.m. LONDON, Sunday. Lord Beaverbrook, writing in the “Sunday Express,” advocates an Imperial fiscal union, within which trade would flow free and unrestricted among all the nations under the British flag. He says that, if the Empire were organised as it should be, the United States would be seeking our countenance and friendship, instead of Britain seeking the support of America.
