Here are two very effective jumpers for afternoon wear. The first, in maizecoloured washing satin, illustrates a new method with the kerchief, the point of this being actually set into the jumper in the form of a V-shaped vest while the loose ends are tied on the shoulder. Another original neck treatment Is demonstrated on the second blouse, the lace being laid on one side and allowed to fall, jabot-wise, down the front from an enamelled brooch. Coffee-coloured crepe, with lace to match, is the fabric suggested.
