MOTOR ACCIDENT SEQUEL

Damages totalling £22 Is have been awarded to James Sutton (Mr. A. Hall Skelton) to compensate him for injuries to his child and damage to his car received in a motor accident at the Dominion Road terminus recently. A ear driven by H. Woods (Mr. Holmden) ran broadside into Sutton’s car. After hearing lengthy evidence, Mr. F. H. Levien. S.M., entered judgment for a number of small items claimed and awarded the child £lO compensation. The insurance company having paid the garage bill since the action was commenced, portion of the claim was deducted. Costs amounting to £lO 8s were allowed to plaintiff.
