NO SECOND CHANCE
PRISON FOR VAGRANT (From Our Own Correspondent) PAPAKURA, Today. When James Slack appeared at the Pukekohe Police Court on Wednesday for being drunk and disorderly, he was given a chance and told to leave the town. •He left, but yesterday made his appearance in the Papakura Police Court on a charge of vagrancy. He did not get a second chance, but was sentenced to seven days’ imprisonment by Messrs. J. Beams and John McCall, J.P.’s.
