QUICK WORK IN UPPER HOUSE Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. The Legislative Council met at 10 a.m. today. Four days’ leave of absence was granted to the Hon. W. Rikihana on account of illness. The Imprest Supply Bill and the Local Authorities Empowering Relief of Unemployment Extension Bill were received from the House of Representatives. It was put through all stages and passed without amendment. The Council adjourned at 10.15 till 2.30 p.m. on Tuesday.
